WELCOME!

St. Bernadette School is a Pre-K to 8 Catholic elementary school which serves primarily the following parishes in southern Clermont and Adams Counties: St. Bernadette in Amelia, St. Mary's in Bethel and St. Peter's in New Richmond. However, any student is welcome from every Parish and every area.
Our Preschool has two three year old half-day class and three four year old half-day classes. Call 753-4397 for more information.

A CATHOLIC VALUE-BASED EDUCATION
The mission of St. Bernadette School is to offer the highest quality education in a Catholic environment. We educate the whole child to prepare students to participate actively in their Church, their family and their community.

STRONG CURRICULUM--EXCEPTIONAL TEST SCORES

We are a caring educational community, working closely with parents to ensure that all students achieve at their maximum levels. Reading is stressed as a basic foundation for all students. Our curriculum follows the Archdiocesan Graded Course of Studies and is approved by the Ohio Catholic Schools Accrediting Association and the Ohio Department of Education. In addition to the usual subjects, Art, Music, Physical Education and Spanish are also offered.
Our students consistently score in the upper 10% of the nation on nationally-normed standardized tests and achieve above their anticipated levels. They are at or above Archdiocesan averages in Archdiocesan Writing Sample tests and Terra Nova standardized tests.

21st CENTURY LEARNERS
SmartBoards are used extensively by teachers and students in every classroom, linked to the internet for teacher instructional use. Keyboarding and Word are introduced to second graders. Third and fourth graders begin the use of Power Point and Excel. Students are expected to use these computer skills in all classes for research, independent learning, presentations and projects.
A newly remodeled, state of the art computer lab can serve 25 students at one time, with projection equipment for instructional purposes.

Weekly assignments or plans can be accessed through the Class Web Pages. Registration information is on the Registration page or
you can call Mrs. Ell at 753-4744. Tours can be arranged by appointment.

  Thank you for visiting.

  Mr. Salerno, Principal
